Cast a shadow out of view
It’s all the small things that add up
Like a little sugar in each coffee cup
Draw something each and every day
In a decade or two you’ll have a display
Graduation, marriage or divorce
Well put us on a different course
So I’ll consider the choices I make
And hope that it’s not just another mistake
